Who we are
Water for All is an organization devoted to the motto “clean water is a human right”.
We raise money to support projects that give people in need access to safe, clean water and sanitation. More than one billion people do not have access to clean drinking water. Water for All wants to change this.
Founded by Atlas Copco employees
Founded in 1984 by employees at Atlas Copco in Sweden, Water for All is still run by company employees and has more than 4,000 members worldwide, the majority employed by Atlas Copco Group. Today, we have local organizations in more than ten countries.
Atlas Copco employees can donate to Water for All, voluntarily, via their paychecks each month. From the start, the company has been matching its employees’ donations. Starting 2011, Atlas Copco will give twice the amount of the employee donations. These donations make it possible for Water for All to help improve living conditions.
