What we do and how we do it

We work with non-political, non-profit aid organizations that work closely with the people in the villages.

How do we work?

We do not do any practical work in the field ourselves and we have no employees. All practical matters are managed by the partner chosen for each project. These partners run the project and report on what has been done in line with the directives defined by Water for All.

How are projects chosen?

The board or steering committees of the Water for All organizations decide which projects to support. Water for All always spends time researching aid-organizations before choosing who to work with.

The projects have no automatic connection with Atlas Copco equipment, despite the fact that the Atlas Copco Group manufactures and markets water well drilling equipment and compressors. Projects are run without any commitment or expectation that Atlas Copco's products should be used.

What is the money used for?

Our donations enable our partners to dig, drill or protect natural wells where safe drinking water is in short supply. Our donations also help to build rain water collection systems, basic village and home-based water purification systems, as well as standard sanitation.

Since the start in 1984, Water for All has helped over one million people gain access to clean drinking water!
