Water for All, founded in 1984, has spent 40 years transforming lives by providing clean water and sanitation worldwide. Driven by Atlas Copco and Epiroc employees, this initiative empowers communities, especially women and children, through dedicated volunteer efforts and donations.
A Legacy of Impact
Founded on August 22, 1984, based on an incentive by two employees, Water for All has spent four decades transforming lives by providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene. This initiative began in response to a drought in Peru and has since expanded globally, impacting millions through various water projects, and the initiative still continues its valuable work 40 years later.
I'm proud of what me and Torgny managed to achieve, but we also had help from our project team, so it wasn't just Torgny and me.
Employee-Driven and Supported
Water for All is Atlas Copco Group and Epiroc Group’s main community engagement initiative, run voluntarily by employees. Donations from employees are matched twofold by the company, showcasing a strong commitment to this initiative. Water for All empowers employees to actively participate in community development, especially benefiting women and children.
A Win-Win for People and Planet
A recent effect study of our projects in Kenya, India and Malawi highlights the positive impact of Water for All’s projects. The findings showed that our projects had achieved remarkable results in improving the water supply, empowering the local communities and enhancing the agricultural. But above all, Water for all changes the lives of women and girls. By empowering women, new social structures are developed based on greater equality.

Looking Ahead
